Corporate Coaching

Standard Coaching Packages

The standard coaching arrangement is outlined below followed by options on the term of contract and associated fees. Elite Strategies recognizes that each individual’s situation is unique and therefore will negotiate custom packages in some cases.   Please inquire for further information.

Corporate coaching packages are designed for organizations that are committed to making an investment in employees who fit one or more of the following descriptions:

  • Individuals already in a leadership position looking for ongoing support;
  • High potential candidates for promotion with some areas for improvement identified;
  • Professionals needing to take their skills to the next level to improve effectiveness in their current roles;
  • Individuals who would benefit from sharpening their communication skills;
  • Busy professionals or executives who require help successfully managing competing priorities;
  • Anyone else who would benefit from working with a coach trained to help them be their best.

Designed specifically for individuals who would benefit from professional or executive coaching, the corporate package includes:

  • An initial 1.5-hour session to set goals and action plans
  • 2 X 50 minute sessions per month
  • Unlimited email support
  • Customized tools and exercises
  • General reporting back to the employer about the coaching client’s progress at the end of the term or more often if requested by the employer*

 

* Due to the confidential nature of the coaching relationship, no specific details will be shared about what is discussed between the coach and client. The client will be allowed to review any reports prior to them being shared with the employer.

Standard contracts can be arranged for one of the following terms. The associated fees will be divided into equal quarterly installments. Fees are guaranteed for the duration of the term.

  • 12 month package
  • 9 month package
  • 6 month package
  • 3 month package

 

All packages are renewable. Fees may be subject to change upon renewal.

VP Readiness Package

All too often we hear stories of highly respected, capable and competent people who are promoted to a position of Vice President or equivalent and burn out in a short amount of time. Sadly, this often leads to a difficult departure from an organization they may have been a part of for many years.

Why do some star performers who often thrive in their job as a Manager or Director experience significant and unexpected challenges when they reach the next level?   Individuals who have been through this experience first-hand are in the best position to provide insights into why this happens and have shared reasons including the following:

  • They had no idea what was expected of them in their new position. On the first day after their promotion, they arrived at their same office and were surprised to realize they really did not know how to fulfil the new role;
  • Their circle of confidantes shrank drastically overnight. New VP’s do not want to admit to their colleagues or to their boss that they are floundering. Furthermore, they do not want their team to lose confidence in their new leader so cannot confide their feelings of vulnerability to colleagues who were previously their peers and are often their close work friends;
  • An unfamiliar feeling of incompetence and uncertainty came upon them. It is often the technical or subject matter experts who are promoted to leadership positions and so these employees are accustomed to feeling competent. As new leaders, the skill set they need to be successful is different. Without adequate preparation, they may feel like they are not doing their job well, leading to further deterioration of performance as they increasingly lose confidence;
  • …and many more.

Designed specifically for individuals who have been identified as highly likely to assume a VP role in the short to medium term (e.g. 6 months to 2 years).

Ideally, this relationship begins at least one year before the individual assumes the VP role to allow for time to identify gaps and work through strategies to close them.

Contracts can be arranged for one of the following three terms. Fees are available upon request and are guaranteed for the duration of the term. At the end of the term, a new contract can be signed with fees subject to changing.

Individual Coaching

Untitled designMichele’s only agenda in the coaching relationship is to help clients determine what success looks like for them and then work with them to achieve it. Depending on a client’s specific needs, deliverables such as the following may be part of the agreement:

  • Develop a mission and vision…and align goals accordingly
  • Enhance leadership abilities
  • Ensure priorities reflect values
  • Set better goals and plans to reach them faster
  • Manage progress and accountability
  • Expand the range of options available
  • Become aware of limiting patterns of thinking and seek ways to mitigate them
  • Identify major strengths and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and enhance relationships in work and personal lives
  • Develop strategies to manage a career change and/or progression

  • Be better equipped to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Improve ability to manage change and deal with uncertainty
  • Work on skills to increase success in the boardroom – e.g. language, messaging, listening, developing a presence, presenting, getting the sale without overselling, displaying confidence

Elite Strategies Coaching Packages

Coaching packages are designed for clients who are ready to make a commitment to coaching and who may be described as one or more of the following:

  • Individuals already in an Executive position looking for ongoing support;
  • High potential candidates for promotion with some areas for improvement identified;
  • Professionals seeking to take their career to the next level;
  • Busy professionals or executives wanting to avoid burnout by successfully managing competing priorities;
  • Individuals looking to make a significant change in their career or professional lives;
  • Anyone else who would benefit from working with a coach trained to help them be their best.

Three coaching package options are outlined below. More tailored programs are also available for specific situations.   Elite Strategies recognizes that each individual’s situation is unique and therefore is willing to create custom packages in some cases.   Please inquire for further information.

Super Elite

The Super Elite Package option is designed for clients who are ready to make a longer term commitment to coaching as they are working through multiple goals and/or desire to develop medium to long term strategies for success.

Includes:

  • 6 months; 14 X 50 minute sessions
  • Plus an initial in-depth session to set multiple goals and begin to develop action plans
  • Unlimited email access
  • Top priority for scheduling

 

Elite

The Elite Package option is designed for clients who are working through a focused goal and/or are seeking support through a shorter term situation.

Includes:

  • 3 months; 7 X 50 minute sessions
  • Plus an initial in-depth session to set the primary goal and begin to develop an action plan
  • Some email support

In Training

The In Training Package is for individuals who want to try out the coaching experience before making a strong commitment; monthly options available.

Includes:

  • 2 X 50 minute sessions per month

Group Coaching

Group coaching packages are designed for clients who would benefit from learning from others with whom they share common ground. At the same time, all participants enjoy all the benefits of coaching at a reduced rate.

A corporation may sponsor an entire group or the group may be comprised of individuals from various companies and even diverse walks of life. Typically, groups are comprised of 6-10 individuals who meet twice per month for 4-6 months depending on the specific needs being addressed by the group.

Women Only – Breaking Through Gender Inequalities in the Boardroom

Women have come a long way in the corporate world, but studies show that there is still very little gender diversity on executive teams and boards. There may be a variety of reasons for that, but some organizations are recognizing that the female half (or more) of their staff population include individuals who could flourish in an executive role and add real value in the boardroom. Women participating in these groups will explore potential roadblocks to their success and develop strategies to design their optimal career without having to compromise their individuality.

 

Managing Priorities When Everything Seems Urgent

If you or your leaders have no time to join this group, then this may be the one for you. Organizations function best when their leaders can engage in thinking strategically and are not just getting through a daily barrage of meetings and emails. Unfortunately, as corporations are squeezed for profits and many people face information overload, it is common for people to feel stretched in both their work and home lives, often leading to the increasingly common state of burn-out. Participants in these groups will learn strategies to identify and meet their top priorities while continuing to manage multiple objectives effectively.
